The Importance of Emotional Balance
People who are emotionally balanced are in control of their emotions and their behavior. They are able to handle life’s challenges, build strong relationships, and recover from setbacks. But just as it requires effort to build or maintain physical health, so it is with mental and emotional health. Healthy emotions are experienced freely and expressed without judgment or attachment. These thoughts encompass areas such as love and gratitude for oneself, improving relationships with others, self-awareness, and time and stress management. On the other hand, repressed emotions, especially fearful or negative ones, can lead to health problems. Working on positive thoughts helps your overall peace and well-being from within. The right, renewed mindset about life and health are necessary in order to commit to a healthy lifestyle.
Checking Emotional Balance
When balancing emotions there are four tests that our doctors utilize to assess for emotional imbalances specifically for you. These tests include: the Genetics and Comprehensive Organix Test to learn how your genes and foods are affecting your emotions; the Neurotransmitter Test to determine where your mood altering neurotransmitters levels are at; and the Wellness Panel to evaluate how your lifestyle may have impacted your emotions to that point. These tests are vital when it comes to balancing one’s emotions. There are other tests such as Energy Sensitivity Scans, Hormones, Adrenals, Stool Analysis and many others that may be needed by our doctors to maximize and personalize your emotional treatment plan. These are determined during a proper examination.
Improving Emotional Balance
When starting to improve emotional balance and health, it is important to understand the level of emotional imbalance. This is found during the testing and physical exam. Once Alternative Health Care Center has properly assessed the level of emotional imbalance, our doctors have a number of treatment options to offer the patient. Our doctors can take the patient through an emotional boot camp that focuses on building positive emotions through love and gratitude, improving physical fitness, optimizing nutrition, offering different stress reduction techniques, neuro-emotional techniques and many others. If the patient is suicidal or emotionally unstable, it is important to co-treat with other health care providers. At Alternative Health Care Center, we have a strong network of doctors to work with if the patient isn’t already under the care of a provider.
